Hello I`m Luca.
I`m a freelance director, designer and occasional writer. I work primarily in the animation/film industry but I am passionate about any project that requires expressive imagery and empathetic writing. In addition to film I have a keen interest in illustration, fashion/costume design and abrasive music.
Born and raised in Milan, Italy. I lived in the US for 18 years (Brooklyn), I now live in Tokyo.

I’m currently involved in the development of a number of animated releases. Below is a list of recent projects:
Role: Director Studio: Titmouse (2025-present) I am directing a short film for an unannounced project, slated for completion in mid-2026.
Role: Art Director Studio: Titmouse (2024/2025) Art direction for the Overwatch 2 × Le Sserafim collaboration music video.
Role: Writer Studio: Psyop // Sun Creature (2024) I co-wrote the screenplay for The Twilight World, the first animated feature directed by Werner Herzog. Written with Michael Arias (Tekkonkinkreet, Animatrix, Harmony).
Role: Art Director Studio: Dwarf//Tomorrow Studios (2024) I art directed pre-production for a yet to be announced stop motion feature. I will resume my role once production starts.
Role: Director Studio: Netflix (2022-2023) I was the director on Battling Boy, an adaptation of Paul Pope’s homonymous graphic novel. I developed the project at Netflix until it was cancelled in June 2023.
